Orchard View Apartments now accepting applications

The Orange County Housing Authority (OCHA) began accepting applications for Project Based Voucher (PBV) units for seniors experiencing homelessness on August 1, 2024. The project is located at 8300 Valley View St., Buena Park, CA 90620 and will have eight (8) one-bedroom units available for seniors experiencing homelessness.

Admission preference will be given to applicants aged 62 and older, who are experiencing homelessness, eligible for services under the Special Needs Housing Program, and referred by the Orange County Coordinated Entry System (CES) to OCHA. CES will verify homeless preference eligibility prior to referral to OCHA.

Individuals who are 62 years or older, experiencing homelessness, currently on OCHA’s Housing Choice Voucher waiting list and interested in applying for Orchard View Apartments may contact OCHA’s reception at (714) 480-2700 for information or dial 2-1-1 to be connected to an access point for households experiencing homelessness.

When calling 2-1-1 please ask to be connected to a CES access point and 2-1-1 staff will provide you the contact information for the provider most appropriate to your circumstances in your service area. You may need to leave a message for a call back for an assessment appointment.
