The Orange County Housing Authority will begin accepting applications for ten (10) Studio Project Based Voucher (PBV) units, for homeless households, located at 2274 Newport Boulevard, Costa Mesa, CA 92627, on January 8, 2024. Please note, this opportunity is not for the Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher program.
Admission preference will be given to applicants who are experiencing homelessness, eligible for services under the Special Needs Housing Program, and referred by the Orange County Coordinated Entry System (CES) to OCHA. CES will verify homeless preference eligibility prior to referral to OCHA.
Individuals who are experiencing homelessness, currently on OCHA’s Housing Choice Voucher waiting list, and interested in applying for Mesa Vista may contact OCHA at (714) 480-2700 for information or dial 2-1-1 to be connected to an access point for households experiencing homelessness.
When calling 2-1-1 please ask to be connected to a CES access point, and 2-1-1 staff will provide you the contact information for the provider most appropriate to your circumstances in your service area. You may need to leave a message for a call back for an assessment appointment.
